When I started this series, I took the easiest option. I had a lot of work going on at that time and couldn’t really shoot what I wanted. So I told myself, that I could at least go to the nearby river or a lake everyday to take some pictures. It was fascinating what the water gave me, so many different textures, colors, reflections depending on the time and light I used. My hometown’s river Aare has quite a strong current, carrying fresh water from the mountains, to me a metaphor for life, for change, for evanescence, and most importantly being a giver and a source of inspiration all day, every day.
