I took the series «Slow Dancing with Chaos» when I visited New York together with my 16-year old daughter in the year 2018. It was a very special trip to me, as the first time I had been to New York was back in 2001, when I was pregnant and kind of lost. This was when 9/11 happened. Suddenly with all the chaos going on around me, I knew I had to embrace what was waiting for me.
New York, to me, symbolizes life itself, chaos, youth, freedom. It was so good for me to come back to this place, introducing my daughter to the beauty of New York, New York. We also went to Ground Zero and the 9/11 Memorial site. This series is very dear to me, representing my life’s most important decision.
